Founded in 1965 by George Rogers, Micro-Tek Corporation, originally known as the Miniature Insulated Wire Company, was incorporated under its current name in 1966. Now managed by the third generation of its founding family, Micro-Tek operates out of a modern 30,000 square foot facility on a ten-acre site in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Micro-Tek excels in the custom manufacturing of fine wire and cable products, specializing in insulating, drawing, flattening, stranding, cutting, and stripping. Utilizing Chemours fluoropolymer resins, such as Teflon® PTFE, FEP, PFA, and Tefzel® ETFE, we can extrude these materials onto a variety of wire types, creating precision engineered products, such as extruded walls as thin as .00075".

Micro-Tek's product range includes fluoropolymer tubing, flat and round wire on bobbins for braiding, hook-up/lead wire, and conductive materials for shielding applications. Serving a global clientele, Micro-Tek offers customized solutions and caters to specialized needs such as precise tolerance control, thin wall specifications, and long-length requirements.

Micro-Tek is recognized as a leading manufacturer of etched PTFE liner and tubing, offering extruded tubing with diameters and wall thicknesses tailored to precise specifications. These products find applications in a multitude of sectors. Final applications have included products such as heating elements on NASA gloves, cardiac pacing leads, low friction liners for the interior of catheters, ultra-fine thermocouples for cauterization and HIFI concert level audio systems.

Most recently, when a medical device customer requested a new product, both engineering teams worked closely through the design and development phases to reach production volumes in less than 8 months, it was a great success for both parties. Micro-Tek continues to reinvest in ourselves to stay at the forefront of our customers' needs. The recent production launch of FEP HS involved investment in capital equipment, while our fluoropolymer processing expertise allowed us to expedite development and bring the product to market.
